about

Let's embark on this mysterious Eastern journey together.

Hi ! I’m Lin Xiaoyue, I grew up in Suzhou, a city rich in history, known for its classical gardens, exquisite Suzhou embroidery, and the enchanting art of Pingtan storytelling. These elements shaped my childhood and instilled in me a love for culture.

I’m also a travel blogger passionate about exploring the magnificent landscapes of our motherland, and a host eager to share the beauty of China with global friends. Finally, through my website, I can chat with you about China, answer your questions in advance, and make your entry journey easy and reassuring.

Before starting my journey, like many of my peers, I naturally entered a large enterprise and worked busily day after day.

However, as time went on, I grew increasingly restless with the repetitive lifestyle. I longed for something different, something more adventurous. Eventually, I mustered the courage to leave my job and embark on a journey that was truly my own.

I once walked along the ancient city walls of Xi’an, with morning light cascading down. The stone bricks beneath my feet seemed to whisper tales of a thousand-year-old capital. Nearby, a lamb paomo restaurant steamed with warmth, the fragrance of bread permeating the air – a hearty offering of Northwestern culinary culture. I drifted along the Lijiang River in Guilin, with extraordinary peaks lining both banks, the water clear as a mirror. Fishermen leisurely navigated their bamboo rafts, unfurling a traditional ink-wash painting before my eyes. Stepping into the ancient city of Lijiang in Yunnan, traditional Naxi music echoed through the bluestone alleys. From the guesthouse terrace, I could marvel at the brilliant starry sky, with an array of ethnic handicrafts creating a treasure trove of national arts.

Friends, hospitality is a tradition deeply rooted in this land. The landscapes and cuisines are endlessly varied, and cultural treasures are inexhaustible. Don’t let unfamiliarity hold you back. Pack your bags, bring your passport, and follow my guide to dive into this enchanting Eastern adventure. If you encounter any difficulties during your journey, feel free to check the guide on my website or leave me a message – I’ll be sure to help you fully. I look forward to meeting you in the streets and alleys of China, embarking on an unforgettable journey together!

What You Need to Know About China

China, this vast and profound Eastern land, is the only civilization among the four ancient civilizations that has continuously flourished to this day. From the bustling cities along the East China Sea greeting the first rays of dawn, to the remote western regions where you can encounter magnificent snow mountains and endless deserts; from the fairy-tale winter wonderlands of the north with frost-covered landscapes, to the warm, palm-lined coastal sceneries of the south, the geographical diversity is truly unparalleled. Here, 56 ethnic groups live together like a family, each with unique customs, attire, and festivals that are wonderfully diverse. At the Mongolian Naadam Festival, horses gallop and wrestlers showcase their strength; during the Dai ethnic group’s Water Splashing Festival, the entire city celebrates, with water droplets spreading blessings. No matter where you go, cultural surprises await around every corner.

As for language, while Mandarin is the common tongue, don’t worry about communication challenges. In popular tourist cities, many staff at scenic spots, hotels, and restaurants can communicate in English, and most signs include English annotations. With technological assistance, translation apps can be your personal interpreter, just a tap away, ensuring smooth communication.

Before Entering, You Certainly Have Many Questions, Such As:

  • Visa matters: Do I fall under the visa-free category?
  • After entry, how do I get from the airport to my destination? How to take taxis, ride-sharing cars, subway, or shared bicycles?
  • Payment tips: Mobile payment is highly prevalent in China. How can I use mobile payment for convenient transactions?
  • How should I plan my itinerary?
  • Is the food safe? Is the environment safe?
  • I want to visit but don’t know where to start?

On this website, I will help everyone answer these questions, allowing you to start your journey with minimal time and no concerns.
